ALL DRESSED UP WITH CHERISTYLE
We give you an insight into members of the Oaf family, our team members tell us what they do, what they are into and not so into.
Today we’re taking outfit inspo from @CheriStyle_, a South Korean stylist and longtime Oaf fan. We’ve admired Cheri’s style for many moons now, and always love stalking her socials to find out what she’s been up to. So when we heard she was visiting London last month we couldn’t miss out on a chance to have her style our latest pieces for an impromptu shoot. And obviously have a good ol’ chinwag, too.
We hope you’re having a great time in London! What have you been up to whilst you’ve been here, and have you got any fun plans for the rest of the month?
I want to be lazy ha! I’m here for vacation, and I don’t have any big plans other than just to get as much inspiration as possible from all around London. I also want to visit vintage markets and car boot sales, as well as some shops and pop up stores. I’ve also got a trip to York planned, to enjoy some mother nature moments.
You told us you first heard about Lazy Oaf when you were studying at London College of Fashion. What was it about us that caught your eye?
Laziness! It was the colourful designs and patterns that first got my attention - and also that cute logo with the two eyes. Also I like how you mix fabric in such an interesting way. I go into the store a lot because I love looking at all the new collections.
Any hot tips for us if we ever make it over to Seoul?
Euljiro - if you’re looking for exotic shops and cafes, definitely check this place out.
We love the looks you put together for this shoot. How did you pick out the pieces that would work together?
I focused on the very core of the Lazy Oaf identity, but also my own styling aesthetic. I love clashing patterns and mixing fabrics, especially when it comes to winter layering.
Any pieces you’ve been eyeing up this winter?
The pink faux fur coat with the Happy Sad print. I think I’d wear it everyday.
What did you think of our shop in Shoreditch?
I think it’s a great location! Today I got a croissant at The Albion, the cute cafe next door. And there are other really nice independent shops nearby too.
