Lazy Land 15th Anniversary Exhibition - Private View
Photography by Iona Wolff.
This Thursday 3rd November we opened our pop-up Lazy Land exhibition at Shoreditch's Protein Studios with a private view party - celebrating 15 years of keeping it weird.
We invited guests to climb into our head and immerse themselves in our world, entering through the mouth of a giant inflatable pink head. Proteinâs exhibition space was transformed into a typically surreal landscape, inhabited by Lazy Oaf icons brought to life in sculpture form, designed by our founder and head designer Gemma Shiel.Soundtracked by Joe Curtis on the decks, we enjoyed drinks from Our/London Vodka and pints pulled from the Camden Town Brewery Beer Van. It wouldn't be a 15th Birthday without A LOT of pizza, which came courtesy of Luppolo Pizza.
Lazy Oaf friends joining us to help celebrate our big one-five anniversary included model & artist Charlie Barker, designer & blogger Fred Butler, musicians Nina Nesbitt, Laurel, Girli, Connie Constance, Oscar Scheller and Black Honey, models Edwina Preston, Isobella Bowering and Robyn Bevan, artist and illustrator Charlotte Mei and Sculptor Wilfrid Wood.
Pick up a special Lazy Land Newspaper to commemorate the exhibition and shop exclusive Lazy Oaf product at our retail space built into the installation.
Open until Sunday 6th November at Protein Studios, 31 New Inn Yard, London EC2A 3EY
