Step into Walter’s World as we collaborate with Mr. Men, the iconic British children’s book series. Created in 1971 by Roger Hargreaves when he tried to explain to his son what a tickle looked like, the bold marker-pen drawn Mr. Men characters are nostalgic childhood favourites. From Mr. Happy to Mr. Greedy and (of course) Mr. Lazy, the characters’ unmistakeable personalities, names and physical attributes tap into a little bit of us all. Silliness and humour are at the core of the books, charming us with their colourful illustrations and satisfying simplicity of the stories and fictional worlds the characters inhabit.
Inspired by the original 1970’s books, this collection offers a fresh take on the classic characters, whether it’s turning them into an all over camo print on a shirt and work pants, using them as subtle repeat embroidery on cord pants and jumpsuits or recreating the landscape of Happyland with the ‘Walter’s World’ Cardigan.
