A FUN Project at Pick Me Up
This summer, we have teamed up with some of our favourite artists to bring you A FUN Project, a capsule collection that embodies everything we love as a brand. An acronym for Apathetic, Funny, Ugly but Nice, the collection features the cartoon prints of its contributors playfully applied to a range of iconic Lazy Oaf styles to bring you something that pushes boundaries and profiles artists in a new and unexpected way. Working with UK artists Dominic Kesterton, Jack Sachs, Jiro Bevis and Kyle Platts then Alexander Medel Calder from Chile and Yoko Honda from Japan, the collection includes dunce dogs, smiling bananas and slow goin' tortoises printed across a range of T-shirts, shirts, summer dresses and headwear. A FUN Project launched last night at the preview of Pick Me Up Graphic Arts Festival, the UK's leading event for graphic design and illustration held at London's Somerset House. We transformed our space into a real life fun house, working with set designer Rosy Nicholas and prop makers Benny and Tom to create a trippy landscape complete with googly eyes, wiggling worms and our new best friend, the cuboid cat table. Pick Me Up Graphic Arts Festival is open to the public daily from 10:00-18:00 from 23rd April - 3rd May with late night openings until 10:00pm on Wednesday's and Thursday's. Come along to see the complete collection and pick up limited edition prints by Kyle Platts, Yoko Honda, Alexander Medel Calder, Jiro Bevis and Gemma Shiel. A FUN Project is all available online now.
