Could this be the Summer of Love?
Do you love the sound of your own voice? Are you always annoying your housemates by singing in the shower? Well put down that hair brush at get yourself to the Lazy Oaf Store on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th June for the ultimate sing-a-thon in the form of Oaf-a-Oke.
As part of Carnaby Street's Summer of Love event we are creating our own piece of musical magic with your help. There will be a karaoke machine set up in our window so you can sing your heart out to an audience. You can battle it out with friends or wow the crowds and brave it solo and we'll award prizes to the most tuneful, or the down right most entertaining! On top of all that we'll have a special music themed £10 goodie bag on sale chock-a-block full of Lazy Oaf goodness.
Plus you can get your hands on the first EVER Lazy Oaf Compilation CD brimming with musical delights chosen specifically by the Lazy Oaf team, there'll be some classics no doubt. These will be given away to the first twenty shoppers on Saturday 5th so make sure you make it down early. The event is part of the 50th anniversary of Carnaby Street and will include a stage profiling musical talent as well as go go dancers, exhibitions and live performances so there will be a lot to do and see. Karaoke will be running in the shop from 2-4.30pm on both Saturday and Sunday and we will be offering 15 minutes slots with the first at 14:00pm and the last at 16:15pm.
