Drapers Awards 2011: We Won!
When we found out we were nominated for a Drapers Award we were really excited as we've never been nominated for an award before.
So when we attended the ceremony at Grosvenor House Hotel on Wednesday evening and found out we'd won, we were over the moon, with the screams and shrieks to prove it!
We were honoured to win the Short Order/Quick Response Brand of the Year Award which we think is a result of the quick turn around of our designs and our unique product range.

Here we are after our post-win excitement. Gemma might look effortless when holding the award but we can confirm it weighs a lot and now takes pride of place in the centre of our meeting table.
The most exciting thing aside from our win was meeting Marc Elliott and Meryl Fernandes AKA Syed & Afia Masood from Eastenders. Marc even congratulated us on winning which meant a lot as we're massive Eastenders fans!
Gemma struck her red carpet pose as we left for the night. Also note the Clown Rucksack, we had to slip in a bit of oaf even if it was a black tie event.

Shevone, Gemma and I ran up on stage to be presented the award by Hallett Retail and Strictly Come Dancing favourite Tess Daly.

The event was full of incredibly glamorous people but our favourite outfit of the night was London It Girl Bip Ling's who stood out amongst numerous black gowns in her cute red pea coat, frilly socks and spotty skirt.
