Lazy Oaf AW12 by Alec McLeish
This winter we have teamed up with talented South London photographer and friend of the brand Alec McLeish to shoot his favourite pieces from our AW12 men's wear collection. Alec is a freelance photographer with published work in The Guardian and Dazed & Confused. We caught up with Alec of www.buymefood.net, to find out more about his inspirations and photography style. What cameras/film did you use for this collaborative Lazy Oaf shoot? I used my Pentax 6x7 and Nikon FE2 cameras - I used Ilford HP5 400 and Fuji Pro 400H film for the 120 stuff, and I used Ilford PAN 400 and more Pro 400H for the 35mm.

Talk us through the inspirations for this particular shoot I heard about the cable cars in Greenwich and wanted to have a look at them, they are about 300ft above the Thames and on a good day the light up there is amazing. Tell us a bit about your model for this shoot This is Alfie, my friends brother, he owed me a favour and I always thought he looked cool. What is your favourite Lazy Oaf look from this shoot? I quite like the stuff with the Shoulder Spot Jumper and the Green Canvas Jacket (above), the jacket's awesome and has a super soft lining, Alfie has it on a lot as it was FREEZING down there.Third Eye Bobble Hat, Red Check Shirt & End is High T-shirt
We love the photography on your website www.buymefood.net, what do you think's the best photo you have taken this year? I like the last picture posted on my website of the Jewish father, I'd want to print it one day. What does 2013 have in store for Alec McLeish? Using H D 4-D film maybe, I heard its going to be huge.
