Lazy Oaf x Nasty Gal Lookbook: Watermelon Wishes and Cheesburger Dreams
Next Tuesday 28th May is a very exciting day as it marks the official launch of our exclusive women's wear collection with US online destination Nasty Gal. For those of you who don't know, LA-based Nasty Gal was founded by Sophia Amoruso in 2006 when she set up an eBay store selling carefully sourced vintage pieces and this has gradually transformed into an international and uber successful style source offering a unique selection of both new and vintage clothing, shoes and accessories. For Summer '13 Lazy Oaf have teamed up with Nasty Gal from opposites sides of the globe to bring you a 20-piece high summer collection combining our playful, fearless attitudes and aesthetics. Designed by our very own Gemma Shiel with concept input from the Nasty Gal team, the collection is inspired by candy packaging and sticker albums we collected when we were kids in the nineties. We've combined candy coloured 60's cartoon flower prints with bold monochrome 90s prints covering matching crop tops and leggings, drop waist dresses and denim shorties. We've also reinvented our signature, sell-out watermelon print applying it to denim hot pants, a relaxed summer vest and a rucksack turning you into one giant juicy watermelon. Sooo today we're giving you a first look at the collection by showing you our latest lookbook captured on camera by Viktor Vauthier starring model Jessica Clarke.
