Pick Me Up '13 Preview
Last night we attended the preview of London's Graphic Arts Festival Pick Me Up that is taking over Somerset House from 18th-28th April. The festival showcases the best illustrators, graphic novelists, cartoonists and graphic designers from around the world so we are very honoured to be part of it exhibiting with gallery Beach London located downstairs. We've set up shop with a selection of our favourite printed designs including caps, bags, cards, socks and a range of our T-shirts and shirts including pieces from our brand new summer line! Alongside sampling a fine selection of canapes (the chorizo sausage rolls were our favourites), we got to check out all of the artistic talent and we were definitely impressed with the results. Oh and we also met UK chef extraordinaire Jamie Oliver and found out he is a Lazy Oaf fan! Pick Me Up is open daily from 10-6pm and late night Thursday's 6-10pm. Tickets are £8, £6 for concessions or you can get a Festival Pass for £15, all available at www.somersethouse.org.uk. If you go along to the show be sure to pick up a free copy of our SS13 Magazine. Original Lazy Oaf prints to sit alongside our stationery, cards and some cuddly Mickey arms. Spring and summer shirts and T-shirts. Spot the villains in this illustrated wall by T-Slates, Kyle Platts and Sam Taylor at Beach London. Our favourite villain Jaws! Jamie Oliver came along to get some new artwork for his restaurants, he also picked himself one of our new Hot Dawg Shirts, we can't wait to see him in it. Sports Cheeses by the Williams Sisters at Beach London, anyone fancy a slice of bRiebok? Jerry and Alex getting up close and personal with Somerset House's giant harlequin pencil sculptures.
