See You Next Tuesday: Cool Animation, Coorporate Bollocks and Rainbow Brownies!
Welcome to this weeks latest installment of See You Next Tuesday where the Lazy Oaf team fill you in on the things that have caught our eye or got us talking in the office over the past 7 days. We return to normal scheduling this week after our previous Looney Tunes and Halloween specials with one very important question on our minds. Who's going to attempt the rainbow icing!? 1. INTERNET SENSATIONS: People Blocks. We stumbled on this really cool animation from creative Andy Rementer and fell in love with the sounds, colours and patterns on offer. Andy has a ton of great work well worth checking out on his site as well as a host of reasonably priced prints available to buy. 2. FOOD FAVOURITES: Rainbow Brownies. Someone went all Tumblr in the baking department with impressive results and now we're hungry. With this tutorial you can make your own rainbow icing, although it doesn't supply information on how to bake the actual brownie itself, so we found that for you too. If you successfully / unsuccessfully attempt this then tag us on Instagram or Twitter (and maybe send us some). 3. WINDOW SHOPPING: Pizza Perfect. Gasius delivers this cute metal pizza character pin badge to the Goodhood Store. Available for £7 this little buddy will sit happily wherever you pin him. 4. MEDIA MATTERS: Corporate Bollocks. This article by Vice led us to find a Facebook page which we like, a lot. Have you ever sat there and wondered why a deodorant company needs a twitter account? Or even more so, why anyone would even feel the need to stay connected digitally to their deodorant of choice!? Condescending Coorporate Brand Page highlights some of the leading 'why, what!?' social media moments from brands across the globe.
