Spring 13 Launch In Store
Yesterday evening we invited all of you to come along to our store at 2 Ganton Street and celebrate the arrival of our Spring 13 men's and women's collections for a night of cider sipping, cookie crunching and prize winning. Alongside our regular store, we transformed our downstairs space into a show room complete with original artwork by Gemma Shiel and look book photography by Viktor Vauthier. Guests were treated to tasty fruit cider thanks to Rekorderlig - Mango and Raspberry proved the most popular flavour this time. You also got to have a taste of a Lazy Oaf design thanks to the amazing cookies made to us Cookie D'oh. Many of you rocked up in impressive outfits including plenty of oaf, scroll down and you may well spot yourself!
Shop girls Faye and Dee wore their favourite LO designs for the occasion with Faye in the men's Slime Baseball Tee and Dee in the Lazy Letterz Crop and Black Circle Skirt.
We had a visit from singer and Lazy Oaf wearer Bluey Robinson (right) and stylist/photographer Lloyd Pursall. Jerry got snapped with the pair wearing the Bear Bra Top and Red Circle Skirt. Here we have our pals Lucy Nicholls from Shiny Thoughts in her Lazy Jock Slob T-shirt, Maria Pizzeria with her fluffy Joanna Pybus clutch and Matt Box who got himself the new Space Coach Jacket. Lucy dazzled us with her chinoiserie winged Adidas x Jeremy Scott trainers. Spotted: Bandana Scarf and Batman Repeat Sweatshirt. Love these girls looks especially the Mickey Mouse tights and old school Zig-a-Zag T-shirt from our SS11 collection. We had a visit from Alex from The Daily Street who took home the Stay Real T-shirt and Awesome Sweatpants (for himself yes!) and his housemate who wore this amazing Chicken Cottage T-shirt. We LOVED this ladies amazing Mickey repeat rucksack. Beach London owner Charlie and Hip Hop Karaoke host Robin both came along in their trustee Green Canvas Jackets. Lookbook photographer Viktor Vauthier was in front of the lens this time snapped with his girlfriend Ella in front of our new neon light. As part of the launch we hosted a Lazy Oaf Tombola and every guest was given 4 tickets with the chance of winning one of three prizes. Monochrome haired Alice was the lucky winner of £200 to spend in store and runners up got £50 to spend in store and a Lazy Oaf goodie bag. We ended the night with an obligatory group photo, from left to right we have Shevone, Joanie, Dee, Faye, Chris and then Jerry and Gemma at the back. Sadly Alex, Aimee and Paul are missing. There's always next time. Big thank you to everyone who came along, snapped up the new designs, participated in the tombola, chatted with us and generally joined in with the fun! More photographs will be added to our Facebook page shortly.
