Summer of Lazy Oaf Love
Posted by Jerry Last Thursday 21st April, we threw a party at our shop on Fouberts Place to celebrate the launch of our SS11 collection and we had a right good time. Many of you came down to join us in the festivities which included a Lazy Oaf nail bar from Wah Nails, drinks from Kopparberg and cakes and chocolate lollies from Lucy Vanilla. This was also your first chance to check out key pieces from the new collection which literally flew off the shelves. Check out our pal from Me & Zena, Emily wearing her Black 90's Sleeve T-shirt with our new shop girl Dee in the new Palm Tree Crop. New designs including the Ziggy Slob T-shirt and Tee dresses hung in all of their glory. These handmade apple cupcakes by Lucy Vanilla went down a storm and ran out so fast I didn't even get one! We all kept cool in the the hot hot heat with the help of tasty cider from Kopparberg. Here are the array of Lazy Oaf nail designs that the lovely girls from Wah decorated many of your hands with. There were dogs. Burgers and fries. Britta from Cooler Magazine took the tropical route with watermelons. Bones. We were overcome with envy when we saw this amazing customised phone case owned by one of our customers. This very same girl had also dressed up her Vans with a pair of tasty Mickey tongue tabs. Oaf watch: This girl rocked her Mini Skirt whilst sampling a red apple cupcake.
Shevone used the all important clip board to keep the nail bar on track whilst looking fab in the Big Pattern Tee Dress. This customer had a break from her Grey Urbanears Headphones to hang in the shop with a bottle of Kopparberg. This lady came along in her Tuxedo Dress and was one of the first to bag a design from the new collection. Check out shop manager Steph's handy work on the front block following a USA theme with our latest crop tee taking pride of place. Someone had to do it and that someone was me! You too can dress head to toe America with the Stars and Stripes crop tee and skirt teamed with the striped Happy Socks. We ended the night on a sugar high with a delish moustache chocolate lolly thanks to Creightons Chocolaterie. Thanks to all of you gorgeous lot who came along, more photos will follow on our Facebook fan page. And for those of you who missed it, not to worry as more pieces from the new collection will launch online tomorrow!
