Our Autumn range is a love letter to Japan, inspired by the weird and wonderful of Japanese street culture. The sugary sweet pastel palette has a bizarre undercoat of Japanese inspired graphics and anime illustrations, blurring the cute ‘kawaii’ with the surreal, niche and oddball.
For this shoot, we got lost in a dream on Lake Yamanakako, amongst the Koi carp and paddle boats. Sailing across the ‘Swan Lake’ on a giant Swan-shaped boat, we tried to catch glimpses of Mount Fuji in the mist, but had to settle for a marshmallow mountain instead.
